VANISHED CHILDREN'S ALLIANCE

For an organization which helps so many people and communities around the country the VCA do not get enough thanks. With a small team the staff work extremely hard to assist in any way they can. Watching first hand the way everyone at the VCA works, with a small budget and willingness to help you can tell they really do the work for the community and with little thought to their own personal gain.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
witnessing firsthand how a non-profit works. It opened up my eyes to all the behind the scenes issues they have to deal with. It is such a shame how little help they receive when they are working for the community.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
so friendly despite being overworked. Volunteering at the VCA was a pleasure which made it difficult for me to leave. Would recommend others to volunteer there as they are understaffed and are a great team to work with.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
solve so many problems. It would mean so much to them to receive funds.

The Vanished Children's Alliance provides so many services! The Outreach Department is geared towards abduction prevention, providing saftety presentations and information to children and adults. They also provide fingerprinting in-house and at various events. The Casework Department assists families and law enforcement nationwide in missing child cases, providing support, poster dissemination and active case management. The Vending Department provides missing child stickers to vendors to place on their machines, helping to get the word out on the missing child and the issue of missing and abducted children. VCA is a wonderful asset that everyone should know about. Spread the word...donate or volunteer today!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
the nicest group of people you will ever meet! They are all passionate about this cause and it shows! Without them, the organization wouldn't survive.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
help families forever! With that much money, VCA could provide its services without ever worrying that money would run out. They could blanket the nation with safety tips and hire a larger staff.
