URJ Kutz Camp

I went to the URJ Kutz camp the summer of 2009. It was one of the BEST experiences of my life. While there i experienced many things and made so many friends!! Try to think of going to see your favorite music group with all of your closest friends. Or spending time hanging out on the lake or seeing a show the Drama chug put on. Or having services lead by your friends and you (me). Or the craziest FRI night song session!!! All of this and more happens at the URJ Kutz camp.

I learned so much about myself and the world at the URJ's Kutz Camp. I learned how to lead, how to advocate for a cause. I formed my own personal and religious identities. I discovered the plight of the hungry, leading me to donate both money and effort towards fighting poverty-related injustices. This place helped me find myself and a group of brilliant friends who I know will be there for me for many, many years to come.

I attended Kutz in '81 & '82 and visited friends in '83 and '84. There are not enough words to describe the amazing experience I had at Kutz. from what I learned from all the great teachers and Rabbi's to the friends I made, many of whom I am still in touch with today. Kutz is one of the best opportunities you can provide to your children, they will be better people for just being a part of it.
