I have been working with children at the Upward Bound House for years and think it is one of the most rewarding experiences of my week.

Upward Bound House is a gem. This unusual organization provides housing and services to homeless families with kids in a way that keeps the families intact, restores the family's sense of dignity and self-worth, and guides them back to self-sufficiency. They do this in a way that engages the community, with a special emphasis on the kids. All of this results in success for the families they work with.
