I have been a volunteer with this amazing well-run organization that gives all areas of special needs children the extraordinary opportunity to participate in football or cheerleading. I have had the honor of seeing the joy and smiles of the participants when they experience fun and success. The coaches do an outstanding job of adapting the activities to the specific needs of each individual.

For the past several years Alan Lowry has invited 5 of the medically fragile children and young adults that reside in our Special Medical Facility to join in his camp experience. I cannot explain the joy the boys and girls have had after participating in the camp. The boys are made to feel that they too can participate in the "football" experience and the girls have loved to cheer the boys on. I am the mother of a 17 year old boy who has attended 12th Man FCC Camp for two years in a row, it has been a truly wonderful experience for him. He got to learn football moves in a caring, non-judgmental atmosphere that was nevertheless filled with a rough-and-tough camaraderie that he loved. The staff and volunteers were just superb, with limitless patience and flexibility. Highly recommend !!
