To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation has been an significant part of my life since 1999 when I modeled in the fashion show at Stepping Out, the gala fundraiser. I am a breast cancer survivor and at the time I was just finished with surgeries and chemotherapy. My hair was less than an inch long. I didn't feel like "model material" but I did it anyway, and this experience opened the door to the world of helping others dealing with breast cancer. My involvement continues to be a healing experience and one that reminds me that by joining together we bring each other through the cancer journey.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

providing breast cancer survivors with a life altering POSITIVE experience!

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the life-long friendships and the feeling of accomplishment when we grant out funds that really impact the lives of others.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated and passionate.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of women and men who are dealing with the threat or diagnosis of breast cancer.

The dedication, compassion and support of this organization to bettering the lives of women and men, living with breast cancer, is remarkable. This organization truly reaches out to enrich the lives of women and men living with breast cancer

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Raised over $2.5 million given out in grants to breast cancer non-profit organizations

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

hire an Executive Director. The organization is currently doing a search to hire an E.D.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working side by side with phenomenal people and networking with the organizations that provide the services we fund

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

passionate, dedicated, hard working.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

not only fund breast cancer organizations but expand to include prostate cancer support.

Ways to make it better...

we had paid staff. As a primarily all volunteer organization a large amount of work and time is devoted to the running of the organization

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

how to grow the organization in a way as to not lose the passion and dedication it has.

One thing I'd also say is that...

it has changed my life and who I am. The amount of time and work that volunteers put into our 3 fundraising events is truly amazing.
