Higher Ground provides counseling to individuals and families suffering from substance abuse and/or domestic violence. Their clients are brought into a refreshingly positive and welcoming home-like environment. Also, their treatment program and use of the outdoor ropes course contribute to a much higher than average success rate. I can tell that their staff thoroughly enjoys their work, and as a result, many have very long tenure with the organization.

We frequently receive testimonials from those clients or family member who have been positively impacted by their work. (Would probably have even more, but confidentiality is a big issue with this type of treatment.)
