Through the Roof Ministries is an organization with a passion for meeting the needs of those with disabilities. They are a caring group of people with big hearts. I have been involved with their NE Ohio community outings and their baby bundle outreach. They collect cloth diaper, pins, baby soap, small baby toys and wrap them all up in a receiving blanket and take to new parents with a tiny infant diagnosed with a disability. Often no one goes and congratulates these parents because they do not know what to say. But the Lord has placed this new born life in our care. Through the Roof is reaching out even in difficult circumstances to bring hope to people in Ohio, Latin America and Haiti.

I have been involved with Through the Roof by donating equipment and first aide supplies for them to send to Haiti. What an incredible ministry this is. They are meeting needs in the local NE Ohio area and in other countries. I really was touched by the story of little Jodeline in Haiti that lost her home and family. Margaret traveled to Haiti one month after the earthquake. She was able to provide therapy to people in 2 hospitals and take toys to the children so there would be a bright spot among all the darkness.

I had the opportunity to travel with Through the Roof to Central America. I saw first hand how an Occupational Therapist, like me could use our skills in a developing country. We not only gave wheelchairs, walkers, canes and crutches, we also gave a Bible in their own language and connected them to a local church.
