Almost everyone here thinks about creating a difference in this world, once in his life. And only a few people get a chance to turn that thought into a reality. YP has taken an endevour to exploit the unutilised enormous potential of the country's youth towards their own welfare, thus securing the country's future. It has given a platforms to the new generation by giving them a forum to adress their grievances and then come up with possible solutions to the same. As far as i can think, no other organisation has done that, which in itself is a great achievement

The YP Foundation is a fantastic organization with a unique strategy combining elements of the arts with strategic community building. It is creative in its various approaches to development issues and has proven successful on all attempts. Additionally, the integrity, ethic and genuine work of the staff is commendable.

I met with some TYPF members and its founder Ishita some time back. I found them to be so full of life and enthusiasm that it made me feel that working with an NGO could be great fun too! I love how TYPF gets young people to choose a cause they are passionate about and help them work in that area. A majority of us want to help but do not know how to go about it, but TYPF being so vibrant and fun makes one feel more comfortable in working for a cause. TYPF is a bunch of singleminded young awesome people who shouldn't have to think about money to start a project that is changing so many lives.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Change the minds of so many young people when they are right at the step of choosing their careers into working in NGO's and helping anyone who needs help. The youth of India could be a real force of nature to fight againt corruption, poverty.

the couple of times ive come to interact with the youth parliament it has always greatly exceeded my expectations. I always ended up going thinking I should finally address the voice I feel I have and wish I had more of..a more socially aware/active change making youth..the last event I attended was exploring the RTI act and it was much more than I expected..I learned so much, I was sucked into the discussion panel with so many people who had so many different and clear points of view..it was so well conducted , carried out and the quality of speakers was to such an extent that while before I walked in I would have thouught that all the panel of speakers belong to different ideologies and there was bound to be a criss cross arguement but walking out ( or in my case being dragged out by my mother lol) I knew that infact everything they had to say was all complimentary..and not as expected antoganistic. I have been in numerous youth groups and the youth parliament is without doubt most definitely in the top 3 for the following reasons: 1.the issues they address are extremely relevant and for the first time a youth organization is actually doing what it preaches..ie being a catalyst for change proactively not seasonally but most definitely year round. 2. the way the issues are addressed and changes are brought about are direct, logical and impressively presented. 3.it is the perfect mix of adult- experienced guidance alongside youth discovering their ways about the world. thanks you guys and keep me updated on dynamicportal@hotmail.com merci et bravo!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

money money makes the world go round and Im guessing , chances are they dont have much of it!

One thing I'd also say is that...

GIVE THEM MONEY..everyone should have the opportunity to make change happen..theyve got the talent..theyve got the platform they just need instruments!

The Youth Parliament Foundation is a youth oriemted organization and believes in harnessing the potential of the youth in the country to pave the way for change in the existing loopholes in the administrative system. The organization has completed seven successful years in engaging the youth om various forums. The youth participation programs of the organization have encouraged a flow of ideas. I have not yet got an opportunity to be associated with the organization in a big way but I am looking forward to be part of the Vikalp Program, organized in collaboration with the UNESCO. This is another event involving youth participation by which the pressing problems facing the country will be addressed and deliberated upon. Here's wishing TYPF many more years of success and active youth collaboration.

I appreciate the initiative taken by the YP Foundation in bringing youths from all over the country, professionals and students alike, to discuss and deliberate on vital issues of importance not only to our nation but humanity at large by way of the seminar 'Vikalp' they are conducting in collaboration with a United Nations agency, not just for the sake of show but toi find real answers. Thee nature of the work they bhave taken up is multidimensional and dynamc and is indeed very impressive.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the way they are so professionally managing a seminar getting youths in the voluntary sector to work on real human rights issues...

I approached the Founder of YP Foundation for mentoring support as I too am a part of a non-profit named Grassroutes that aims at initiating urban youth into social action. I received contacts and leads for possible collaborations as well as got to hear about YP’s experiences, challenges faced and ideas as well as the journey of the YP team that added value to me and my venture. There was openness in sharing ideas and suggestions from the organization as a whole and they also had an expertise in working with young people and running a youth led start up. Also, their model is efficient and innovatively run and gives other organizations ideas and space to learn from.

Energetic and passionate about the work they do. It was nice to meet a senior management team filled with young people. YP gives the space to young people to use their strengths that would otherwise go unnoticed in most other organizations.
