i attended one yp event- the Music Basti show headed by Faith Gonsalves and her team earlier this year. it was my first exposure to the work that yp does here in the city and i must say it was quite impressive what they do :) and i did enjoy the music ensemble that evening- an acoustic set by advaita, the band ;) disclaimer: i was not involved in the org, nor a volunteer at any point. there's no other option available ... :/

I came joined The YP Foundation as a volunteer three years ago when I had alot of time on my hands but as time went by and I had other things on my plate too, I still wanted to continue with YP. It has been the first time in my life that I have continued to do something for so long and i still want to continue working for it. it is something which just gets you hooked!!
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
watching individuals grow as leaders,as teams and as individuals. This organization puts a lot of effort into actually helping, supporting young adults to discover and work on their true un tapped potential.

I went from an external person working with the organization to working here full-time! Went went from the garage-office to a real office space! I went from from just volunteering to making this what I do. It's incredible how, in whatever capacity you can, there's always a space for you somewhere.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The freedom to think and to create - when you are thing young it's hard to find the opportunity or space where your ideas are valued, developed and cultivated.
