The Womens Mosaic provides a diverse range of opportunities for all kinds of women in the NYC area to interact with and learn from each other in meaningful, relevant ways. I've known Kristina Leonardi for 30 years and am continually amazed and impressed with the level of dedication and creativity she brings to organizing The Womens Mosaics programs, fundraising efforts and volunteer staff.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

it's biannual Visioning Workshops, which have provided compelling personal insight through the experience of creating a collage of images that speak to you. These workshops also been great ways to meet many very cool women!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting great people who share my interest in exploring meaningful relationships with other women.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

diverse, friendly, genuine, dedicated...they are the best!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

reach and involve even more people.

One of the events that The Women's Mosaic coordinates is a book club gathering that uses literature to explore cultures and women's issues. My experience has been one of connecting with other women, opening up to new ideas, and exchanging points of view. Literature is just the turn key! My constructive feedback is to have the gatherings more regularly, even if informally!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

... connecting with other women, who I otherwise would not have met. We've shared our travel tales, our work stories, our relationship challenges... it is the strength that comes from making the time to gather and connect with one another.

The Women's Mosaic events cover a broad spectrum of topics: multiculturalism, religion, politics, etc. and attending them I have benefited by learning about those topics, meeting other people with similar interests or expertise, and having a great time! No matter what the topic, the tone of all the events is one of openness and understanding. This organization promotes peace at the ground-level: on a person-to-person basis.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

cultural understanding

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the diversity of events and the participants

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

lovely - sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, fun

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Host more events and do fantastic things with a much broader geographic impact
