The majority of American citizens think of human trafficking as something you only see in the movies. Those who know that it is a current and real problem rarely think that it happens in our united states. The hundreds of thousands of US victims beg to differ.
The issue of human trafficking needs more attention. The Wayne Foundation is doing great work trying to spread more awareness while raising money to help the victims of this atrocious crime.

Making people aware of the problem of child prostitution is one of the best things the organization could do. But the Wayne Foundation does so powerfully as well as effectively is pretty beautiful. But still better than making us aware of the problem, the foundation is actually proposing a solution. Not pie-in-the-sky, but practical. No one can fix the whole world, but creating a home, a place that girls can go to get out of the life, a safe place... They're making a difference.
