I was a Volunteer & I volunteered at Trevor NY this year, and hopefully more to come!

The Trevor Project and all of their wonderful volunteers are the best! I have never been around so many awesome people who care so much for so many! Without ANY complaints!! I am truly looking forward to helping out in the future! This is a cause that is in need of supporting, mature individuals who can actually listen and help, instead of lie to them like so many do! I tell EVERYONE I know about this project, even those who are not necessarily supportive of the lifestyle and I have never received a bad response! I can't wait to help in the future! Thanks especially to Brian & Daman! You both rock!
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... Emails, people themselves, internet. This is a Great project! Saving lives is a duty we all should share!
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... actually seeing the results that the project can do, I got to see in person some kids that were directly helped via Trevor. I am proud to say that I actually was involved if only in some small way.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... so very helpful, non judgmental, caring and all around wonderful people.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... save the lives of so many wonderful kids and young adults!
Ways to make it better!
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... funding.

The Trevor Help line along with their social web site Trevor Space is a great resource for not only me, but also many GLBTQ youth. The fist time i called the Help line i was 13 and extremely confused about my whole life. The lady on the line helped me to realize that things do have a bright side and very well may have saved my life in the long run if not just at that point in time. I then called it again about a year later, now being out to most family and friends, when me and my first girl friend broke up. Again the person on the line helped me to see the bright side of thing and that life is worth living. At the end of that call was when the person on the line told me about Trevor Space and as i said above it is truly a great resource. I am now doing much better in my life with the help of some medications and have improved so much over even the last few months. I thank the Trevor project for being then at a point in my life when it seemed like there was no one else!

- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... the suport i felt from the people.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... do so many wonderful things.
Ways to make it better!
- If I ran this organization, I would... make it more known.
- One thing I'd also say is that... im defiantly glad the Trevor Project exists.
I was a General Member of the Public & I told many friends about The Trevor Hotline and talked to them to prevent suicide or self-harm.

I discovered The Trevor Project through the GLSEN. I think that it is an amazing orangization and I have been spreading it and TrevorSpace to all of my other LGBTQ friends, as well as some of my straight friends that are also stuggling with suicide. I believe that The Trevor Project deserves the Pride Choice Award for all of it's hard work and all of the lives that it has helped save the Trevor Hotline.

- If I ran this organization, I would... keep everything just the way it is, it's a great organization.
I learned about The Trevor Project,Inc through my school's GSA. Once I joined trevorspace.org and saw the safe options, I was hooked. I realized that here was a safe place for me to talk with other LGBT peoples about the issues I care about. Since being a member I have enjoyed the sites available bulletins and the people who care as much as i do about our rights.

The Trevor Project is the best at providing an invaluable service to LGBT teens, letting them know that they are by no means alone. The volunteers are great, which makes the organization great. I hope that more teens will find the Trevor Project and the solace it had provided so many others.
