Really impressed with the energy and synergy of the Board and its volunteers of the Seany Foundation. Will be following up with this Foundation.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

excited about the Foundations oppotunity to make a difference.

The Seany Foundation gives back to their participants as much as it gives back to the cancer patients it provides for.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

help so many lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

advertise more.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the free t-shirt!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very kind-hearted.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make a world of difference.

Ways to make it better...

The venue was bigger.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting the word out to the public.

One thing I'd also say is that...

the cause is a great cause.

A great organization requires good goals and good people--The Seany Foundation has both. A diverse, passionate, and generous group of people, the Seany Foundation definitely deserves the 2009 Cancer Fighters Award as they will continue to selflessly give back to the community!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

extraordinary and very personable. The people involved in this organization are dedicated and passionate and I have full confidence that they will work in every way to accomplish their goals.

I think it's great what Seany is doing. The staff is bright, motivated and earnest in their efforts. Their desire to reach out in every way - notably their music label - is inspiring.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Energetic, enthusiastic and smartly dedicated to reaching their goals

The Seany Foundation is great because they strive to make the lives of children with cancer better. Many childhood diseases get left behind with little to no research funding because they "don't make any money for Big Pharma." The children are our future and we can't put a price tag on that. The Seany Foundation has done so much to make the lives of these young children better, including a wide range of different types of events, donating to build a teen center, and research funding. They do it all! You gotta support the Seany Foundation!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the way we approach children who have to battle cancer. Also, they could provide research money for the leading doctors that treat Ewing's sarcoma.

I have attended a couple of the Seany Foundation events now and every time, I truly feel like I have contributed to an amazing cause. I am moved by every story I hear from Mitch and Amy regarding Sean's strengths and struggles. It brings tears to my eyes and makes me want to do more in making contributions to such an important cause like pediatric cancer. The Seany Foundation truly makes you see that life is beautiful and precious. I look forward to the future of the Seany Foundation. I am happy to be a part of it in any way I can.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the education of pediatric cancer and truly...the celebration of Seany's life. It has always been a positive experience...I think that's what Seany wanted.

The Seany Foundation has developed fantastic ideas for raising money for a worthy cause. I attended their Cut-A-Thon at Evolve Salon in January and got a great haircut at a well-organized event. The mission behind Seany Records -- to support and foster the creative development of artists while donating a portion of its profits to the Seany Foundation -- is innovative and visionary. I look forward to all that this organization will achieve in the future!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the breadth of what they're involved in.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

energetic, outgoing, intelligent and stand-up people.

This foundation has brought nothing but positive awareness to an ongoing disease. It is so important that people understand Seany's story, not only to help stop the brutal battle of various sarcomas, but other cancers as well. The creation of this organization has allowed Sean’s name and life to live on. I feel very fortunate to be apart of such a wonderful organization, because it has made a connection to so many people, especially those close in age to Sean. For Sean’s peers to hear his story and become apart of his life through this foundation, it has opened endless awareness and motivation for the fight against cancer.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The relationships formed from events, and the more awareness that has become a product of this foundation.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would not make any changes. The Robin's family and the rest of the Seany Foundation crew has done such an excellent job that I probably would do no where as good of a job as they have thus far.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The events allow you to enjoy yourself while still giving back to a great organzation. Every event defines an aspect of the life Sean had, and it has allowed those that attend the events and read about Sean's story to better understand the person he was.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

So positive! They know how to get everyone excited to help out, and touch people's hearts at the same time. They are one big family fighting for a cause that is so important, and that has been such a great thing to see.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

It will happen, just you wait and see. This foundation has endless possibilites, and it would not surprise me one bit when the foundation reaches that goal. But when it does, Seany's story will take this world to new heights, something Sean would love!

Ways to make it better...

If I was able to attend every event, and have more money to donate to the foundation.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Establishing an even bigger following. Economic times could be a huge part of it, but even though money can sometimes be an issue for some, the events are so worth it!

One thing I'd also say is that...

The Seany Foundation deserves this award. Sean was a miraculous human being and wanted nothing more than for those around him to see the world as he did. He had so much love and compassion for everyone he met, and this foundation has let that love live on
