Helping people find a primary care physician. Teaching how to talk to your doctor. Providing the tools to navigate problems and visits to the doctor's office, a hospital stay, or an ER visit. These are only a few ways the Patient Institute helps individuals find their way through the complicated health care system. And new doctors, medical students and other health professionals also benefit through Patient Institute train the trainer programs that will ultitmately help and empower patients. We are lucky to have such a great non-profit organization in Bexar county!
