A co-worker invited me to an OCF Bible study at a time when I was really searching as to what I really believed about God and religion and faith. At the study I met real people who were fun and interesting. There were some seekers like me and some deeply devoted to God and knowing him better and some inbetween. None were judging, none were perfect but they were real. This OCF Bible study was the only one available to me - I was stationed overseas at the time and the Chapel was not offering another study. I'm so thankful for OCF for helping to move me along my faith journey during that assignment.

I began with OCF as a participant in 1984, then caught a vision for what God is doing to grow excellent professional leaders in our military and i quickly grew into a volunteer and donor as the years progressed. Our experience has been that of amazing connections during every combat deployment, most temporary duties, and during every move of the family to new assignments. Now we have an "extended family" across the entire US and in many countries, we have "home" at Spring Canyon and White Sulphur Springs Conference Centers, and we have the privilege of hosting OCF Bible studies wherever we are assigned.

I have been a member of OCF and a financial supporter since 1987. OCF helped change my life when I was active duty Army in the 80s and 90s. It's been a long time since I was active duty, but I continue to see the great impact OCF has on our active duty military. OCF ministers to military individuals and families just like they helped changed my life and the life of my family. I am grateful that OCF is available to active duty military. It equips and encourages its members to be involved as Christian leaders in their homes, and at work. OCF pointed me in the right direction and linked me up with other Christians in the military.
