Kris Kelly puts her money where her mouth and her heart is. It seems like she and her group are up 24 hours rescuing dogs across CA. She has an incredible network of generous people who come out at all hours of the night and 7 days a week and on holidays to take a dog/ cat goat or horse or any type of animal off the street -away from gangs and fighters, in ditches and off Craigs List. She helps rescues who have gone bad and people who just do not know where to turn or simply dump their animals on her. Everyone wants to help in their own way when Kris needs help. She even comes to the aid of people to help them keep a pet or work with a pet. She attracts the best of the best; warm hearts, compassionate and gentle, skilled and emotionally and financially generous if they can be. She drives everywhere -gets the animals on transports and to good home checked homes. The best part: She is the real deal - nothing but good and if all animal rescue was like this we would not have some of the sadness we see in other so called rescuing. Everyone wants to partner with her, help her. With all that said -she needs help - otherwise she cannot continue at the speed she works and the success. Please come aboard and help the them save lives: really save lives. I am grateful for The Kris Kelly Foundation.

I have known Kris Kelly and of her rescue organization for approximately two years as of this writing. She is not just the name on the front door; rather, Kris is hands on with The Kris Kelly Foundation because she's committed...and she cares. It's a given -- sometimes sadly so -- that any one person is only as successful as the network of other quality people with hearts for animals. Commitment, effort, insight, experience and networking help save animals, and Kris is a leader in this never-ending endeavor.

Several months back The Kris Kelly Foundation saved a pit bull that was literally minutes from death. Several people had spilled their guts of energy, passion and tears on behalf of this abused dog, yet shelter extensions had run out. It was Kris who executed the rescue that saved that dog. I know this story intimately because "that dog" was ultimately adopted by me. Without The Kris Kelly Foundation this pit bull -- this sweet blessing -- wouldn't be here today adding joy to my life each and every day.

My goodness, the person who wrote those terrible things in that one review about Kris Kelly must be crazy!! Nothing she wrote is true!

I met Kris in 2009 when she sent out a call to rescuers to help 80 cats left in the home of a woman who had just died of cancer. I was part of the cat rescue group at Sony Pictures Studio and I mostly did fostering of kittens, so I called the number Kris had left and told her that I could take in some of the kittens. She asked me to come out to the house and take the kittens that I could rescue. That was the beginning of an entire year of basically 3 of us working to save those cats. Kris boarded all of the tame cats at a vet and paid for their vet care and boarding. Many were very sick; half needed most or all of their teeth removed due to stomatitis. Kris got items donated and had yard sales to pay for the medical bills and cat food. Paying the bills was such a struggle.

Kris and I drove several hundred miles to visit feral colonies where people were willing to take in some of the feral cats -- (Kris drives!). We were uncomfortable about taking any of our ferals to those locations. Kris finally found a generous woman who was willing to donate her back yard so Kris could build an enclosure where the ferals still live. They all also got vet care. We took cats to adoptions, sent out masses of emails, met people at the vet office at all hours of the day and night to show the cats and finally, after a year, saved every cat from that house. Kris did so many yard sales to pay off those vet bills!!

Kris also rescues dogs. I know a woman that I call my "kitten pusher" because she lives in a ghetto neighborhood where people throw away so many cats and dogs on the street and she regularly calls to ask if I will take another abandoned kitty. Sometimes, usually late at night, my "kitten pusher" calls me about a dog that is on the street. I always call Kris. She never says, "Why are you calling me in the middle of the night?" She immediately says, "Let me see what I can do." A little later, she calls me back to let me know that someone has picked up the dog. Some time after that, she sends me photos of the dog in it's new home.

Kris is a wonderful rescuer who has stayed involved and dedicated for so many years. Anyone who helps The Kris Kelly Foundation can feel assured that they are helping some of the more than 1 million homeless animals on the streets of LA.

The Kris Kelly foundation is one of the best non-profit groups I have come into contact with. Kris the founder is very nice and full of knowlege. She puts the animals well beings ahead of anything else. She always makes sure that adoptive families are throughly checked out and that they understand all her policies. She is very nice and patient and helpful with her potential adopters. I have worked with and known Kris now for over 5 years and have never had anything but positive experiences with her. I highly reccomend Kris and her foundation if you are looking for an animal to adopt!!!

Hello everyone! I have to chime in here because I have worked with Kris Kelly and her Foundation for over 4 years now. She runs a VERY responsible Charitable organization, as she has saved so many little lives. If there is a slam campaign against her, it is obvioulsy one of jealousy and malice. I have been an outsider looking into this Animal saving community, and for all the good you people do for animals, you completely ruin it with all the slander you do to yourselves. Listen people, we are all in this fight for the innocent, and the good of animals. We do not need to be berating any charitalble oranization that is trying to help and do good as well. We really need to come together as a team and help the shelters work efficiently and save all of the lives that unforturnaately get dumped and thrown in the system. Anyone that doesn't believe this way should be ashamed of yourselves. Rise above people, and remember what you got into rescuing for!

The person that wrote this review is a woman by the name of Fawn Drake, aka fawn recording artist from tone deaf or deaf tone records who claims to be on the billboard charts along with lady gaga. She is as delusional about her career as she is about this review.

Fawn has SEVERAL sick dogs in her house. I have told people time and time again to not give her dogs but for some reason people do. She is a nasty woman that constantly defames people in the rescue community for unknown reasons.

Los Angeles Animal Control was called by not only her neighbors but also her own sister! They have been there 3 times... All ending in not positive results for this woman.

All I suggest is you consider the source. Fawn shame on you. I personally saw the help you received from the kris Kelly foundation and this is how you repay her?

I have personally fostered for this foundation, have met Kris and this insanity is simply untrue!!

KRIS KELLY OF THE KRIS KELLY FOUNDATION IS A FRAUD AND ANIMAL MURDER:

When you make a donation to Kris Kelly of The Kris Kelly Foundation you are supporting the KILLING of animals and Kris Kelly's luxury life style that she has because she lives off the donations she gets instead of getting the dogs they are intended for the vetting they need! You also are supporting a woman who thinks its ok to put animals to sleep or have them brutally shot when she doesnt want to deal with them because they are old or have other issues!

One of many reports. Kris is also under investigation by petsmart as the grant they gave her was used for her own personal luxuries . She is also under investigation by other charities who plan on prosecuting her as well and the IRS is now conducting their own investigation.

More on Kris Kelly

This is in to regards that Kris is a good rescuer, she is not, she is a fraud, and people who think she is a good rescuer dont know her personally. I have witnessed and seen the horrors of her fraud and greed and she is currently under investigation by the IRS as well as the charities that gave her the grants plan on prosecuting her as well because she used the grants on herself and not the animals.
I'm sorry but your report about Kris Kelly taking in fosters into her own home is a complete and utter LIE. Her ex boyfriend Joe took in about 3 dogs, Kris Kelly only has one dog and one cat. She took in a small chi for about a year. Other than that, she does not take animals into her home. She also is afraid of driving, and insists every one driver her everywhere. It's painfully obvious that you do not know the Kris Kelly Foundation or Kris at all. I worked with her for years, and know her like the back of my hand. What, did she hand feed you what to say to defend herself? She is a pro at manipulating and really did miss her call in acting, as she is an incredible actress, using it every day to con people, while she pockets money, does not get medical needed for animals and kills them before their time. This woman is a con, a nut ball, a liar, a sociopath and the worst part of it all, is you believe she isn't! You are just as responsible for the blood on her hands. Now, you've got blood on your hands! Wake up!

Even more

Kris Kelly of the Kris Kelly Foundation mis uses raised funds for animals to pay her rent and bills. She extorts money from innocent people, is a con artist and has stolen from Chip In accounts and paypal records pertaining to individual animals and pockets the money or says "it didn't come in" or "it was lost." There is legal action currently being taken against this foundation. This foundation and person also does not do house checks, has allowed animals to be euthanized because "it was their time" "they're old" "they're too much trouble," IN SPITE of the fact that veterinary Doctors disagreed.
