This is by far the best nonprofit organization. When the good Lord has a hand in your life nothing is impossible. It's real . I see it grow by the day and the smiles on the faces of these children show so much appreciation. The heart sure do smile. Am with you guys all the way . Bless
This non-profit organization is the best organization I've ever been associated with. I have seen firsthand how HeartSmiles has blessed some many children in such a relatively short amount of time. From getting the children to school and educated to building them a place to call home with running water! One remarkable lady had a vision to help those less fortunate then herself...and she definitely has! I absolutely love to see my sponsored child thriving and it's all thanks to Ama Osei-Bonsu and her dream come true! ❤️
I met Ama Osei-Bonsu at work. She told me about her cause and I was captivated by her passion to give back to her country. I have shared her mission with others; patients, staff, friends, and family. All the compassion and love this organization demonstrates should be an example to the world...if we all pay it forward and remember someone, somewhere did the same for us...we would all be so much better off. Special thanks to Ama for introducing me to this organization and I look forward to working with her and the others in the near future.

A wonderful organization dedicated to changing the lives of orphan children in Ghana. Founded with a vision and purpose, The Heart Smiles organization, is committed to providing the needs of children and positively impacting their future.
The Heart Smiles organization is a labor of love for the founder, Mrs. Ama Osei-Bonsu. With the support of the board members and volunteers, the heart smiles organization is committed to providing a better way of life for 60 orphaned children in Ghana, West Africa. The board and foundation supporters work tirelessly to make sure that the children are healthy, fed and, have uniforms. All of the proceeds from the sale of the fair trade Nepal bracelets, various art pieces and jewelry from Ghana, and all other fund raisers go directly to fulfill the mission of the The Heart Smiles organization. The foundation has been prepared and we are excited to break ground on our building project in Ghana! With the help of dedicated supporters and volunteers we have been able to accomplish much in three years. Want to know more? This organization has truly changed lives. It was founded by loving people, who care about the needs of children and their families in Ghana. So many lives, in Ghana, have been Blessed by this organization. With donations, Heart Smiles, has been able to provide an orphanage and a school in Ghana. I love this organization because the families at an elementary school, help with fundraising, and the students know exactly how the money is used. This past year, each class had a picture of a child from Ghana that they were helping. It truly made the fundraising experience "more real."
Heart Smiles is an organization that is run by a Boatd that oversees first hand that the donations go to the kids basic needs to medical and educational needs.
Amazing people and amazing organization. These people lead with a servants heart and are changing lives.
This is an AMAZING group of women who are passionate and dedicated to improving the lives of those who don't always have the ability to help themselves. They provide lots of opportunities for the community to get involved, and the earned money goes to such a great cause. Keep up the good work please!
I am proud of Ama for taking this huge responsibility. I quite remember when she decided to take this path, I asked her what inspired her to do this and this is what she said 'when we cast our mind back, we know how God has BLESSED us and you know this is our passion and this our way of saying THANK YOU LORD and also giving back to our community' then I said wow. And I know you have the passion, because you frequently leave your two young daughters here and travel to Ghana for this project. And even while's here, you are still juggling between being a mother and a wife and also planing and organizing fundraising for your other children as you call them. I am very very proud..
One of the most obvious elements of this organization is the PASSION within. I know one of the board members personally, and she has served hands on in Ghana and in the States, and hands-down her dedication and excellence in service to these children is INSPIRING. I especially appreciate they are partnered with a local woman, and empowering her to a successful agent of change in her very own country - not like "rich westerners" who swoop in build something and then leave. Their fundraising efforts are practical and fun, and make GIVING that much easier and cheerful.
