As an Ellie Fund volunteer I've had the honor to meet people who've benefitted from the Ellie Fund's services. Many of these people are now volunteers themselves... a clear sign TEF does good work. TEF has a small staff doing the work of an army. Their dedication is unmatched and sincere. Events are well-run, 1st class affairs. Volunteers are treated with respect and are truly appreciated. I consider it an honor to be involved with this organization.

The Ellie Fund is an amazing organization that I consider myself very lucky to apart of. I have attended and volunteered at several of the great events and I am always amazed to see how much the organization has grown and how much hard work is put in.

The Ellie Fund is an organization comprised of and supported by extremely hardworking, dedicated, and passionate people. Every Ellie Fund event is spectularly put together with careful attention paid to highlighting the people that it so fully supports.
Every event I have volunteered at or attended has been a fulfilling experience. Although I've been to many Ellie Fund events, I always leave feeling like I've just been a part of a revelatory experience for everyone involved; those that have, had, have somehow been touched by breast cancer, or those, like myself, he just want to support a wonderful cause. The Ellie Fund does an amazing job of showing just how lifechanging its support is for women with breast cancer. The comraderie of all those who choose to support the Ellie Fund is inspiring, and wonderful to feel a part of.

Being a breast cancer survivor, I know how important support is to help you and your family get through treatment. We are lucky in Boston to have access to extraordinary medical care, but that is only part of the story of what it takes to get you through.
The Ellie Fund support to those going through treatment is a unique and critical part of helping a patient concentrate on getting well, and for that I am profoundly grateful to support their wonderful organization.

The Ellie Fund meets a critical need in the fight against breast cancer. By providing support for patients and their families, the Ellie Fund allows these families to maintain as much "normalcy" as possible as they fight against breast cancer.
As a volunteer, I have participated in two ways in this organization:
1) Assist at the Fundraising events
2) Deliver meals to patients and their families.

The families who have been helped by the Ellie Fund cannot say enough about what a difference it has made for them. It's the little things-the babysitting, the rides to treatments, the meals--that make such a difference.

Provide more resources for marketing to create more awareness around the organization.

I have been volunteering for the Ellie Fund for a few years now and I know that they truly make a huge difference in the lives of Massachusetts breast cancer patients and their families on a daily basis. Without the Ellie Fund, many families would be left to fend for themselves while undergoing chemo and radiation. The Ellie Fund fills a crucial by giving families basic support and help during this difficult time. I can't say enough about what they do and what kind of organization they run.

The Ellie Fund provides house cleaning, warm meals, transportation to medical appointments etc. Basic services that everyone needs but can't do for themselves when they are undergoing treatment.

expand the services to every hospital in Massachusetts.

The Ellie Fund is truly an exceptional Non Profit Organization. They provide help to hundreds of families fighting breast cancer in Massachusetts every day. They assist with family daily activities such as transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping and home delivered healthy meals.... all free of charge, thanks to volunteers, donors, sponsors & friends.
Several times throughout the year, The Ellie Fund hosts incredible Events. OSCAR Night - Boston, is the only Oscar party in Massachusetts sanctioned by the Academy.. and truly brings Hollywood to BeanTown with style & class!! Casino Night, Fashion Shows, Princess Tea Parties and Comedy Night at the Hard Rock are just a few of the amazing affairs hosted by The Ellie Fund. If you haven't checked one out.. it's a MUST. Jeff Popkin, the Co-Founder of the Ellie Fund and Julie Nations, Director of the Ellie Fund, are two of the most admirable people you could meet. They are leaders in our community and are dedicated to making a positive and strong impact in the Fight against Breast Cancer.

There is not a thing I would change about The Ellie Fund... I think they should continue to ease effects on patients and families during their fight against breast cancer.

I came to know the Ellie Fund through friends who work there. They touched so many lives in a positive way and sure enough it was a just matter of time before personal friends became benefactors of the Ellie Funds services. Friends who were diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo treatment, and had very young children to care for. The Ellie Fund helped to provide transportation, babysitting and housecleaning along with much needed meals at a time my friends could not physically do these challenging things during treatments. They since have reciprocated by helping the Ellie Fund as a thank you when they needed help. It became a wonderful caring cycle.
