I travel a lot, but dance is in my soul. Whenever I'm in the Boston area, I head for The Dance Complex. It always feels like coming home. Last year, they did major changes, for the better, to the lobby. It was beautiful and still regal and comforting at the same time. A treasure, for sure, no matter what style of dance you like, or how good you are. The Dance Complex is the best.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I've taken classes there and have attended concerts.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure some major donors gave lots of money to secure this place always.

I have been a member of the Dance Complex community since its inception. I have been supported the Dance Complex as a work study student; which allowed me to dance as much as wanted at a time when money was slim; I have attended multitudes of classes with Ramon de Los Reyes, Anna Myer and various workshops; and I have actively been a children's tap dance teacher there since Rozann encouraged me to start a class about 15 years ago. I love the community of dancers, educators and aficionados who fill the Dance Complex with joy, creativity and the love of artistic expression. There is no other place like it. It is an osasis for the art of dance.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the fact that I have been an active children's tap dance teacher there for approximately 15 years.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Is the pure love of dance that comes from the staff and all the teachers and the students.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

In it to support the Dance Complex andto dance, dance, dance!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Redo all the floors, have new sound systems for each studio, put in better lightiing to open up all the dark corners, open it's doors and really be creative with the community at large.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

It has an unreal offering of classes, all excellent and open to the public. Classes are ongoing and not expensive and there's are no hidden costs. No pre-reg or memebership. It's mosltly run by volunteers and everyone is warm and welcoming.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

How much fun it is and how open and not pretencious.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazing.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Really fix the old parts of the building, make the theater updated and offer free classes and scholarships forever.
