The Breast Cancer Research Foundation was founded in 1993 by the late Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. The Foundation supports scientists at top universities and academic medical centers worldwide conducting the most advanced and promising breast cancer research that will lead to prevention and a cure in our lifetime. Currently, more than 91 cents of every dollar spent by the Foundation goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's grant application process is overseen by a voluntary group of renowned breast cancer research experts who comprise the Scientific Advisory Board. This Board reviews the proposals and submits an approved roster to the BCRF Board of Directors for funding authorization. The average size of each annual grant is $250,000. Grant recipients are required to provide both narrative and financial progress reports twice a year.

They sponsor research to find cure and prevention. They manage the donations incredibly well, are very transparent so you can see where your money is going and although they do huge events, they will also help you do smaller ones. All for one great cause.
