I am on the board of the Kiwanis Club of Monroe. We sponsor the Aktion Club through the Arc of Union. I see the value in what the Arc does to make a difference in the lives of individuals they serve. I am grateful for their service to our community and enjoy the opportunity to volunteer and serve with the Aktion Club members.

Spend time with one of our self-advocates through our Community Connections program!
Community Connections is a program that matches a volunteer from our community with an adult with a developmental disability. Together they will spend time together each month, exploring recreational resources in our area and taking part in leisure activities. This is a time to share opportunities to learn new skills, grow as individuals and to get to know each other. It's a great way for people with developmental disabilities to become more socially involved in the community!
