The Poe Center for Health Education is one of the premier nonprofits in Raleigh. For 20 years, the Poe Center has been providing education for kids and families on topics such as nutrition, dental health, drug and alchol abuse, and tobacco dangers. In the near future Poe will be launching programming on bullying. I'm proud to be a board member at the Poe Center!

I've observed classes and participated in the recent Nickelodeon Kick-Off to the Worldwide Day of Play at the Poe Center with the NC PTA.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Nothing - I'm happy with how things are going. The Poe Center has a real sense of the appropriate strategic direction for the future. As always, unrestricted funds are needed....
