I started using TechSoup website about 10 years ago - I still regularly read blog posts and access other resources. There are some articles and webinars that I keep referring people to. I've always found information and resources very useful.

In last 18 months as a volunteer organiser with the NetSquared program i've been had support to support people working in communities to better use technology available. Being able to access ideas for events, receive encouragement, network with other organisers and access some funding has ben invaluable to our group in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand.

For the past 11 years Tech Soup has been a tremendous support for our non-profit. We are able to get Microsoft products that we could not afford to buy for our operations. We are able to refer other non-profits to Tech Soup so they can buy software that we cannot furnish. I use the web site for information on topics such as web site development and comparing the various free tools that are available. Tech Soup hosts many educational manuals so that I can refer others to their site. Software, webinars, hardware and information are just a few of the reasons that Tech Soup is a leader in supporting non-profits.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Can't think of anything. They are very professional and supportive of non-profits.

Working with the EcoCommons in Second Life I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many organizations -- The Sierra Club, OneWorld.net, Sustainable Harvest International and many others are now moving in to share virtual office space thanks to TechSoup Global's initiative in virtual events and organizational collaboration. We save tons in travel by networking virtually across boundaries, building new cause campaigns at very low cost.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Cross-organizational collaboration

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Global interactivity and relevant events, a community of likeminded people

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very intelligent, insightful leaders

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Create networks of change that ripple throughout the inner landscapes of the NGO sector, strengthening thousands of organizations to do more.

Tech Soup, especially TechSoup stock has been a Godsend to our organization. When I was first hired to operate a community computer lab, all the computers had pirated software and ancient versions of the legitimate software. Through TechSoup stock we were able to update our lab affordably and teach our students workskills! Not to mention the staff is knowledgable and friendly.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the number of relevant software titles they offer.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the ability to buy affordable software.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

helpful.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

do more outreach and non-profit trainings.
