Our organization has been part of TechSoup for more than 10 years and have found it to be an essential resource for all nonprofits. We always recommend it to many organizations, as one of the best collaborative resources available to the sector. I often tell startup nonprofits, to not only join their State Nonprofit Association but to make certain that Techsoup is among their top 5. Why? Not only have we been able to get software, hardware, donations, grant information but the forums are so helpful. We are a small community based nonprofit that still provide community technology support, Techsoup has been very instrumental in our continual service to our client based.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Offer a semi-annual webinar with various topics for feedback from various clients utilizing the service. Right now it is very impersonal and if we had suggestions or wanting to feel that our voice is being hear, or our input is important to you, there is no vehicle to make it happen..

TechSoup is my go-to resource to learn about the best ways to use technology in my work. I've also been able to receive much needed software that would have been impossible to purchase at full price given our reduced budgets. I cannot over-emphasize how much this has positively impacted the work of the various nonprofits where I have worked.

nonPareil Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing technical training to adults with autism. Getting software through TechSoup at very low prices has greatly helped us to expand our program to help more and more adults with autism. We appreciate not only the price, but also the convenience. Rather than each nonprofit having to coordinate with various donor software companies, TechSoup is an easy-to-use intermediary. It saves time for the donors; it saves time for the nonprofits. Wonderful, effective program!

I have been able to get a lot more done for my nonprofit clients, because they can equip themselves through Techsoup with the basic infrastructure and software they need to utilize my consulting services. Techsoup is a god-send and a great service.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

A bigger inventory, and more providers... why can't I get Salesforce licenses through Techsoup?!?

I do development and communications for PeacePlayers International, a non-profit organization that operates in 5 different countries. Techsoup enabled me to get Adobe Photoshop and Premier that dramatically helped our communications efforts and almost no cost. PeacePlayers also participated in their timeline app.

In addition, I love their mission and organizational culture. Keep it up!

We get our Microsoft and Adobe products through TechSoup. Love it! It saves us a lot of money that can be spent now on our programs.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Getting software

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Get more Adobe CS4 in stock - they are currently out of stock. Would also love donated web hosting and email marketing software. I know they are working on getting this.

Their website is easy to navigate, they have built an incredible amount of partnerships to provide nonprofits like the Women's Intercultural Center the ability to obtain technology we could not otherwise afford. To them we owe our installation of the latest version of Quickbooks, Microsoft Office 2007 for all our computers and our computer lab for our participants, plus much more. Aside from that, they have an awesome customer service! What more can you ask for...a credible organization, variety of products at great prices, and great people to work with!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

by having our nonprofit, the Women's Intercultural Center, become a registered user and have purchased their products.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

continue to building relationships to provide technology to nonprofits that otherwise could not afford it and make sure to keep that newsletter going to its registered members.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the products they offer and their service.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

fantastic!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand its services to small businesses!

Ways to make it better...

I could get their newsletters. I signed on for them and I haven't received some for a while.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

keeping up with the pace of the ever changing world of technology and funding.

One thing I'd also say is that...

if you have not tried Technsoup your nonprofit is truly missing out.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Reduced cost of software and better information when shopping for solutions

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Helpful newsletters and website
