I have been in awe since first starting to work with this organization - first as a volunteer linked to the first "Race to Stop the Silence" to my present role as chair of the Board of Directors. The drive, commitment and compassion of all who work with this organization - from its founder, Dr. Pamela Pine, to volunteers and experts at events, is something I have rarely seen in non-profit work. Stop the Silence has helped to create a save space for survivors of child sexual abuse to find voice and comfort as well as be a critical resource to advance public understanding and institutional commitment and response to mitigate the harmful impacts of such abuse. Having worked on the inside, as a board member, I have also been aware of how much has been done with few financial resources - again inspired by the commitment and dedication of all who become involved with STS.

I first worked with Stop the Silence while President of another child protection non-profit and was immediately impressed with the quality of programming and zeal this organization possesses. It developed a remarkable resource for judges to help educate them on child abuse and the law. More recently it has found new and creative ways to engage people in the cause and of course continues to put on the Race to Stop the Silence.

We hear so many story about children being abused in so many ways that it creates within you a spirit that needs to protect our most valuable assets...our children! Stop the Silence has that spirit. This organization has reached far and wide to do all it can to bring awareness, supply resources and bring together people that share this same spirit. I recently participated in and volunteer for the 5k race. Many people were in attendance. It was a huge success and only spoke volumns of the reach this organization has. I am a board member and proud to serve with such awesome people who have the dedication that is needed to see this organization through.

I am a victim of child sexual abuse and found my "voice" after 40 years. Stop the Silence/Stop Child Sexual Abuse is an extraordinary "voice" across the globe to help our children: protect them and care for them by providing education, prevention and treatment options for both the abused and the abusers, past, present, future. Most of all, as a Board Member, I serve alongside other dedicated colleagues as an advocate - to embrace the most vulnerable in our midst - our young. Stop the Silence /Stop Child Sexual Abuse will expand and become a greater force on the world stage by having the benefit of more treasure - the generous philanthropy of those able and willing to give precious dollars in these unprecedented times. This organization is a "voice" , without question, that must become louder and louder in the years to come. Thank you. Mark Joseph Williams

I am a strong supporter of this organization because it tackles a very difficult problem that most people don't want to discuss. Their outreach, advocacy, and programs make a real impact for the lives of those served. I am impressed and inspired by their founder, Pam Pine, who works tirelessly to support and defend this plight of humanity.

Stop the Silence, Stop Child Sexual Abuse is leading efforts to break through the conspiracy of silence on the pandemic of needless and preventable child abuse that is occurring in our country and in our World. This year, Stop the Silence, helped produce a groundbreaking play called to Kill a Kelpie which showed to audiences in 3 cities. The show I attended was amazing as the audience was young/old; male/female; and from all racial groups---and all of us were transformed, informed, and reformed in our commitment to end child sexual abuse. Enough tears and fears, it is time to mobilize ourselves to create a culture and society where child sexual abuse is no longer hidden and no
longer tolerated.

Later this year, Stop the Silence held a 8K Run in downtown Washington, DC. Survivors were joined by their families and friends, and the broader communities, to publically show solidarity with this cause. That is a profound was of breaking the silence, and allowing healing to occur.

Stop The Silence, Stop Child Sexual Abuse is a young organization, and it needs to continue to grow and expand it's programs.

We can end child sexual abuse! We must end child sexual abuse! We much do this NOW!
