Stop the Silence, Stop Child Sexual Abuse is leading efforts to break through the conspiracy of silence on the pandemic of needless and preventable child abuse that is occurring in our country and in our World. This year, Stop the Silence, helped produce a groundbreaking play called to Kill a Kelpie which showed to audiences in 3 cities. The show I attended was amazing as the audience was young/old; male/female; and from all racial groups---and all of us were transformed, informed, and reformed in our commitment to end child sexual abuse. Enough tears and fears, it is time to mobilize ourselves to create a culture and society where child sexual abuse is no longer hidden and no
longer tolerated.

Later this year, Stop the Silence held a 8K Run in downtown Washington, DC. Survivors were joined by their families and friends, and the broader communities, to publically show solidarity with this cause. That is a profound was of breaking the silence, and allowing healing to occur.

Stop The Silence, Stop Child Sexual Abuse is a young organization, and it needs to continue to grow and expand it's programs.

We can end child sexual abuse! We must end child sexual abuse! We much do this NOW!

My family and I have benefited greatly from participating in Stop the SIlence. My wife and two sons also attended to Kill a Kelpie and we had a 3 hour dinner discussing this topic....it was amazing. My two sons also volunteered with me at the Race to Stop the Silence and they were inspired by the opportunity to do community service.

I know the story of Stop the Silence very well as its founder, and I can tell you that those working with this organization have worked their hearts out providing wonderfully creative and impactful programming that has literally touched the world.

From the early days of the first Race to
Stop the Silence (www.stopcsa.org/race) -- there have now been seven of them since 2004 that have generated global awareness, to the recent play To Kill A Kelpie (www.ToKillAKelpie.com), which was performed showing extremely positive outcomes in San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., this organization has unfailingly both spread the message that we need to stop the silence about child sexual abuse, change our policies, provide help for the child and adult survivors, and PREVENT the abuse from happening in the first place, and provided the programming that helps accomplish these things. THIS IS A GREAT ORGANIZATION -- expect great things to come!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in everything that it has done. Sometimes I look back and marvel what we've done in the relatively short time since the organization was incorporated in 2004. The quickest way to get acquainted with the results provided is to visit its Web site (www.stopcsa.org) and then get otherwise involved as a volunteer.

If I had to make changes -- and could make the change I wanted -- I'd fund it with a million dollars, to start! This organization has everything it needs to truly help change the world: the people, the ideas, the passion, the energy. I wish I could give it the funds that it needs to carry its mission far and wide -- and soon! Too many kids, too many adults are effected for us not to do more!
