Stand Among Friends (SAF) is an excellent non profit organization. It has helped me to overcome the challenges that a legally blind individual has to face when they have a dream of working in the graphic design industry. SAF has enabled me to live my dreams!

I have had nothing buta positive experience with Stand Among Friends. These are extremely dedicated people led by Shawn and Lisa Friedkin whose focus is to provide those with any neurological disorder with help,at no charge to lead a happy and productive life.

Stand Among Friends is such an amazing organization with wonderfully dedicated staff and volunteers. We are focused on helping all people with disabilities to become as independent as possible. We do this by helping others to find and maintain employment, through our Disability Center at FAU, and our assistive technology center. We understand that when people can earn an income, they gain back much of the independence that they lose as a result of living with their disability. All people deserve an opportunity to be a productive member of their community and at Stand Among Friends, we're focused on making that happen!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
help so many other people. We could hire more dedicated staff to work with more people with disabilities, thereby making a bigger difference. We are a great organization with great people that just want to do our best to help others with disabilities!
