St. John Lutheran Church Reviews
St. John's provides walk-in food and prescription assistance, a weekly clothing closet, and monthly free community meals to the needy. The need in the neighborhood is great for such assistance. I've seen this in my volunteering experiences as a congregation member and neighborhood resident for most of my life. In addition, my mom has worked as Ministry Assistant at the church for over 30 years. Her daily experiences at the office attest to demand for charity and social ministry in the community.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
caring, capable and sincere.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
reform its defunct day school and/or expand its services to the needy. It might also be able to build a community garden which could supplement some of the food assistance the congregation provides.
