I have worked with songs of love for about 5 years now and have seen it grow to help more families. Songs of Love has some of the most compassionate hard working people I know. I have recieved many letters and pictures from the children I have written songs for over the years. When I get the letter and read there words it makes me feel like I am actually a part of helping others. The letters and pictures really let you know how much Songs Of Love means to the family. It is a priviledge to work with such a wonderful organization.

My Grandson, Zak is 6 and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 9 months old. We put his song into a slide show of family pics. He loves the song and I love Songs of Love. It brightens the life of these precious gifts from God. Zak cannot run and play, but he can play video games and is learning tread. I did send a copy of his movie to Songs of Love. I hope they share it with you all. Thank you Melanie for sharing this wonderful org. with me. God Bless All!

My name is Trudy Perkins My son James DelRossi was Diagnosed at 14 with a Non-Germonomous Germ Cell Tumor We were sent to Nyu Medical Center and we also stayed at Ronald McDonald House for a 1 1/2 yrs for Treatment We were in the Kitchen Dinning area at Ronald McDonald House and these people walked in with these applications to fill out for Songs-of-love With everything going on the treatment making him either tired or Ill to weak to eat . This was a wonderful day his eyes lit up made him smile and when your going through this ordeal all you want to do is see your child have some joy . He filled out his profile and waited for the Cd they even personalize it with your picture and when he listened to it he started dancing and made him feel important My son is now 20 and in remmision and he still brings his Songs-of-Love Cd's for people to listen to Music is Healing just like laughter is for your soul you need it to Survive Thank You Trudy Perkins

Using songs to aide in the healing and comforting of children this organizatio​n is an organizatio​n that I have grown to love. Each song is unique and the happiness it brings a sick children is immeasurabl​e. We continue to listen to Felicia's song everyday, take a minute and watch along to a video my friend made for us. http://www.​youtube.com​/watch?v=VZ​6iWMPSVx0 This songs really made Felicia feel special during all her long hospital visit. Thank you Songs of Love. And if you know an organizatio​n that would like to donate or make a song for a child, Songs of Love will let you participate. What an amazing feeling that would be, knowing that you brought a smile to sick child's face and helped heal their soul

I have been writing personal songs for children with the Songs of Love Foundation since 1998. So far I am up to 68 songs and counting. I can tell you that it would be far more if I did it full time. If ever there was an organization that truly thought of the children it represented with good will and intentions it's this non profit organization. Everyone I've known who worked with Songs of Love has always put in an ernest efffort to make sure that the emotional & theraputic needs of children and their families were met. As a member of this foundation since it's inception, I must say that it is one of the greatest non profits out there. I have been privileged to experience the joy and comfort that these personalized songs bring to the children and their families. Music is indeed very powerful and has great healing powers. When a child hears a song that is all about them and all the great aspects of their life, they feel so proud. How cool is it to have your own song!?!? Not many people can say that.

2 years ago we got our song for our daughter Eva, I loved it and could not wait to share it with the family. There are days we find ourselves singing her song just doing everyday activities. I also made a video to go with her song so everyone could see it, her friends were very happy to see they were also included in her wonderful song. Thank you all for all oyu have done!!! I can not tell you what I have been through with my daughter's disabilities due to three strokes. I was having a bad day and forgot all about applying for this program for my daughter. I was having a bad day and went to the mailbox when I saw the package. I can not tell you how much it made me smile and how happy I was to hear my daughters personal song....I keep it in a safe place, but I play it through the computer for her to hear...Everytime she hears her name she smiles. It made my whole family so happy and so appreciative....Thank You Songs Of LOVE...

Songs of Love is an amazing organiazation, I have seen first hand how much the kids love their songs and how much it helps them out. Children who haven't smiled for weeks even months smile again upon hearing their song. Powerful stuff! Great work, Songs of Love!!!

Over a year ago, I was stuck in a dead-end corporate job and tired of not following my dream of being a full-time songwriter. I discovered Songs of Love online and promptly contacted them. My relationship with Songs of Love has become one of the highlights of my life. Hearing from parents of children who have been touched by my songwriting has convinced me that Songs of Love is helping me do good in this world. The staff is professional and friendly, and always available when I need them - and I get a sense that they are not in this for the money, rather for the chance to make kids smile on a daily basis; that's their true payment.
