I am a founding board member of this organization and served as chairman of the board for five years. As a pastor in this community for over 25 years, I have been blessed to see the impacts on homeless families lessened considerably, and soon given the community support throughout all sectors, we will see family homelessness solved in terms of having access to permanent solutions for any family in the region who is willing to change the future for themselves and their children. Solutions for Change is meeting the challenge of homelessness head on with a mission and a model that is defeating homelessness for families and communities.

I have been fortunate enough to be involved with this organization since 2007. The residents, staff, board members and volunteers have impacted me in ways I could not have anticipated. I am grateful each day that this organization is continuing to solve family homelessness with servant leadership as it's keystone. Solutions for Change is truly leading the way!

Amazing program getting to the heart of homelessness and solving it one family at a time! They are able to really understand what it takes to get these people who are having a rough time get the help they need such as recovery, parenting help, education classes, job trainning and self esteem to start fresh and regain their place in our community as productiona and proud community members.

Solutions for Change doesn't just give handouts to their clients, the homeless, but they get to the root of why they are homeless. They didn't just become homeless and desperate overnight, so the "solution" will take some time, also. The dedicated staff help the clients "see" where their futures need to go, then they give them the tools to get there. These are not just temporary changes. Their lives are permanently changed. They learn to deal with their addictions, become good employees, and get and keep a job. They are taught good parenting skills that, by example, teach their children to become good parents in the future. Solutions for Change offers a quality service to bring the homeless out of homelessness forever.

Solutions for Change absolutely changes peoples lives. The program saved my sister, her daughter, and husband. My sister lost her son at an early age which debastated her life. She and her family were on the verge of being homeless. Our family helped all that we could but had done all we could. She called Solutions for Change and began to rebuild her life with their help. With the help of Solutions for Change she and her husband now work and have a beautiful place to live and are great parents to their daughter. Solutions for Change gets families working, productive, and happy.

As a Pastor, I am continually confronted with how to best help people in need. Solutions For Change is the best and most effect way to treat homelessness for families. Instead of the short term approach taken by other agencies, they engage families in a 1,000 day program that addresses addiction, parenting skill,s , finances, nutrition, anger management and of course financial planning. Their work programs allow people to regain the dignity of working and earning a living while providing necessary job skills. My family and I volunteer there on a regular basis and I encourage everyone to hop on board with this first class organization.

Solutions for Change is helping end homelessness in our area by providing resources, training and a complete Life Changing program. Their commitment to working within the community and with other organizations is both effective and refreshing to see. In the past 5 years since I first volunteered wtih my church to provide monthly meals to SFC residents I have personally witnessed the huge impact this program has on families. I am honored to provide any support I can and encourage others to learn more about Solutions for Change.

I began working with Solutions for Change in 2011 and have been very impressed with the organization. They have a very clear vision, model and plan for solving family homelessness. What I value most as a donor is that my dollars are going towards permanent change rather than temporary band-aids. I would highly recommend this organization to donors who are looking to make a big impact with their donation as this organization has great SROI.

I have been a board member for a long time. One thing with solutions is that after you graduate, you are always a member and can get help if you need it

I have a friend who has been helped a lot through Solutions for Change. I am always impressed with how clean and pretty the facilities are, and more importantly with the life skills that are being taught. I feel like you have not only giving the man a fish, but also are teaching him to fish. Thank you for providing such a great service for our community.
