Solution for change saved my life,they took me in at my lowest. They taught us a new way to live. My daughter and i are so grateful for solutions, they've given us HOPE. We've been here since 2010

Enjoyed helping others help themselves. Housing paint projects, and a playground build-out were opportunities to experience families working and appreciating the chance to solve their homelessness.

My son and I came in Solutions for Change in 2008. Solutions held me accountable, Taught me how to be a good parent and helped me to change my life. Solutions has been there for my son and I through thick and thin. I can't express how grateful I am. I have been in the program long enough to see miracles happening all around me. The Staff in exceptional! Truly I am now a productive member of society, with connection to the community.

Solutions for Change is an amazing organization that has helped change the lives of many families that have found themselves in the unfortunate situation of being homeless. Their comprehensive approach doesn't deal with so much with the symptoms of homelessness, but the root causes. We are privileged to have them in our community.

Solutions for Change is the best program ever to assist families solve their homelessness permanently. They get to the root of the problem, and work with you all the way to the end to accomplish your goals. I can't express enough gratitute for everything this program has done for my family and me. Its all about Solutions here - helping families ! I work for thiso rganization Solutions For Change, a non-profit in North County California, that is driving towards solving family homelessness by providing families access to the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to gain and maintain health, employment and housing – to permanently solve and stop the generational cycle of homelessness.
I have seen the change in the men and women, and most importantly, the children that are part of this safe and caring environment. Our residents attend workshops and classes, receive employee related training, assistance with job search, and even give back to their communities in terms of volunteering, all while under the care of a case manager to maintain a safe, healthy environment for their children and themselves.

My son and I found ourselves homeless on the streets of north county SanDiego and this was the only place that would help us. All the other places I called for help you had to have substance abuse issues. We didn't qualify for those. Solutions took us in and helped my son and I get our lives back stronger than ever... Physically, emotionally and spiritually!!! I could never repay or thank them enough for all they did for us!!! I never knew be homeless could be such a great blessing... I truly found what FAMILY was all about through the gel and guidance of all the wonderful and beautiful souls who not only WORK for this organization... But all the beautiful souls who love within this community... My son and I are truly blessed to have been a part of this great place... We literally owe our lives to North County Solutions For Change.... We love and miss you all dearly ;*) Linda and Isaac

My six year old son and I had nowhere to go and we had no family...we were homeless living in an abandoned car. I had $5 in my pocket my rent had been doubled...I was on disability and my son was extremly sick.... I couldn't get him health insurance because I didn't have an add. I called every program there was in the north county of SanDiego but no one would accept us because I wasn't an addict or an alcoholic... North County Solutions for Change was the only program that would take my son and I in dispute not having addiction issues.... we were there for almost 3 years and I'm happy to say my sons heart issues are resoled my health issues have never been better. I'm now living back home in Iowa in my own home with my finance and I'm a 42 year old college student majoring in criminal justice! Thank you Solutions for all you did for us!

Solutions For Change is the antidote for the last 40 years of well-intentioned but ineffective strategies to combat homelessness. Rather than handing out freebies and hoping for the best, Solutions For Change offers a real hand up through an intensive 1,000 day rehabilitation that addresses the primary causes of homelessness (addiction, dysfunction, co-dependency, under-education, abusive relationships, etc.). The results speak for themselves. 90+% of graduate families permanently off the streets! Solutions For Change is a world-class operation whose philosophy needs to be adopted across the country.
