I'm amazed by the positive & life changing impact Snowbird Outfitters, Inc. has had and continues to have on the lives of today's youth. Their love for Christ and commitment to confront students with the life-changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching, recreation and personal relationships is unbelievable. Both my son and daughter attended camp this summer for the first time and I can say without reservation that they returned changed. They keep talking about their experiences and can't wait to return next summer. Thank You Snowbird for your commitment to Christ and obedience in serving him in the camp ministry.

My first experience with Snowbird was in 1998 when I volunteered for a week of land clearing and construction. I could sense right away that this place was marked by God and chosen for a special purpose. I continued going back each year to visit and volunteer, having just a small part in this great work always brought great encouragement to me. My volunteering eventually lead to being asked to serve as a board memeber. This new role has brought on new tasks and opportunities which are often very challenging but always worth it, it's been a great pleasure to serve and work alongside so many who are commited to Jesus Christ.

Looking back now I'm amazed to see and reflect on how God chose a few ordinary and faithful people, gave them an undevelped creek bottom and a vision for youth ministry and then worked faithfully through them to do such big things. AWESOME!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I've witnessed and heard people's testimony on how God has saved them and then healed their brokeness and given them purpose and meaning in Himself. Personally, the friendships I've gained through my time spent as SWO has been so encouraging. Working alongide others who are passionate about what God has done/is doing has been very good for me. I'm so thankful to God for blessing me with such great friends.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

One challenge I see for SWO now is the strategic planning for the future. As with any new org. so much happens so fast in the early years that it's difficult to keep up in all areas. While I think SWO has managed this quite well, now is the time to "settle" a little and work on a plan to insure that SWO remains healthy and strong in the years to come. This is an area both mngmt. and the board are working on now and I'm pleased with many of the accomplishments already.

I have known about and been associated with Snowbird for about 10 years. My son has been there as a student volunteer and as a staff member .
I have been on campus many times at services and after services during "small group" times and watched as lives were literally changed including students and leaders'.
This is a "1st class' organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Witnessing as staff members lead students and leaders to accept Christ and change their lives forever.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

See more organized leadership.

I worked for snowbird the summer of 2010. It was amazing! Its a life changing experience for not only staff but campers. I saw God work through so many lives. If it wasn't for the full time staff's commitment and passion for God's word this ministry would not be what it is today. It is the best thing ever!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my walk with Jesus Christ.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

None at all. :)

I am as it shows above a Board Member and have been since 2001. I am and have also been a volunteer at the camp since 2001. I have given my testamony there, Baptised there, Preached there and I have grown closer to my Lord Jesus Christ there. Everything that I do there I do for the Youth who attend camp, but somehow God grows me while I try to grow others. I don't know if that will make sence to you but every skit, talk, activity or fellowship I help with I feel that I am the one receiving God's Blessing. I have grown closer to the Lord there, friends whom I have taken to SWO have grown closer to the Lord there, My Grandaughter prayed the Prayer of Salvation after visiting and seeing skits which she could understand at 10 years old there. It is not just a youth camp, it is a place where people of all ages can go and not help but be drawn closer to the lord, because everyone there is trying to share the Love of Jesus to every one who comes to SWO.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Growing in the Lord and seeing my friends and Family members accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I have seen first time campers come as 14 year olds and come every year through as campers, then summer staff, and then full time staff. I have seen lives changed and Godly Men and Women Grown from Children.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

This is a hard one, I have prayed and fasted asking God to direct the Camp Director and Staff, as well as the Board of Directors and all who have helped over the past decade. You know what? God has! The only change would be to get more people Praying and Fasting for God's will to be done, because I beleive with all my heart that as His Holy Word states that whatever God builds or creates it is good.
