Mission: Our pursuit is to continuously support and encourage those living with the daily challenge of parenting a child with special needs so that the genuine love and hope of Jesus will be experienced and shared in their everyday lives.
Results: Begun in 2002, this organization began with 6 couples and a box of tissues. Today, we serve well over 3,500 families both locally and nationwide. In 2014, despite the economy, we were able to grant $2,452 in aid through gift cards and TLC baskets to families throughout the US. Parents were also able to connect with us through various conferences and special family events. Bowling, kite flying, and adaptive water-skiing were just a part of the fun. We also ran multiple mentoring groups using Facebook and Zoom video conferencing, so parents can participate from the comfort of their own homes.

I was chatting with friends on twitter and that is where I learned about them. I am a mom of an autistic daughter and myself I have a rare type of cancer. It is a place for inspiration friendship and help when you need it. Out of the blue I recieved a basket from them with some much needed TLC . The basket came with just what we needed at that time it was a real blessing. They do such good work for parents of disabled kids.

This is an extraordinary group of people that are parents of special needs children themselves who take time out of their lives to minister to those in need. There is tremendous heart felt devotion to doing goodworks and helping others. They are one of the most worthwhile charities I have come across lately. They are hands on and make the lives of some very isolated parents and their families better.

I would find a way to get them more funding so they could help more people. That is their greatest wish.
