A Great non-profit that gives pregnant teens and their babies a safe and secure place to live. Seton Home has a proven record of helping teen moms overcome many of the obstacles of Parenting and helping them continue their education. This year they added a new Education Bldg. to help them obtain their goals and graduate from High School. The Staff and volunteers continue to be helpful in fund raising and continue to give generously. What a great place to work and volunteer.

In the many years that I have volunteered at Seton Home, I have seen many young girls progress from crisis to self-sufficiency. Seton Home teaches them to provide and care for their child, continue their own education, and learn to be caring and loving mothers. The spirituality program helps them to grow with God, and helps them to influence their children in a positive manner as well. I am proud to be a Seton Home Volunteer veteran.

Seton Home continues to grow, adding an education building this past year so their users/teen moms can continue their studies during the summer. Their annual fundraising gala raised a record sum of over $150K this past year. Seton Home has become financially sound while they provide a very valuable social service to their residents and the community.

My wife has volunteered at Seton Home for more than 20 years, and from time to time she has "volunteered" me to help out also. In addition to the obvious, like a totally worthy mission and the services it provides to the young women and the community, I am continually impressed with the advances and development Seton Home has experienced over time. It is professionally run by a good mix of professional staff and volunteers. One visit will show anyone that this is a worthy and stellar organization.

I have been involved with Seton Home for the past three years. In that time I have seen the how Seton Home has truly changed the lives of teen mothers and their babies for the better. The education and support provided by Seton Home teaches residents the proper way to care for their babies and themselves. Seton Home is an outstanding organization.

I have been involved with Seton Home for a number of years and have seen first hand the transformation this place holds in these young girls lives. During their stay at Seton Home, they are given life skills, educations skills, workplace skills and childcaring skills. They do this all in a loving and caring environment

I can't say enough about Seton Home. This wonderful organization provides a refuge for teen pregenat and parenting Moms when many times they have no other place to go. Seton provides a full range of care from parenting classes to day care for the children to medical care. Without Seton I am not sure where many of these mothers would learn any necessary parenting skills. The staff is extremely dedicated and provides countless hours of self less service.

hope they could some day have a program that provided assistance to the girls after age 18 with housing, guidance, counseling etc so that they could be "followed" on their path to success. When the girls leave Seton it is very difficult for them to manage on their "own" so to speak

Seton Home is a campus dedicated to caring for homeless teen mothers and their babies. When deciding where to spend my donation dollars, Seton Home tops the list year after year. The staff is professional and efficient. The board is dedicated to the cause. And the cause, itself, is among the most noble: caring for homeless children who have given birth to children of their own.

This organization affects GENERATIONAL change. The mothers are lifted up, told that they are worth something as human beings, and pointed toward education (high school diplomas and college). The babies benefit from a healthy, loving environment during that very important time of early development, and from the lessons that their mothers learn.

When homeless teenage girls removed from their homes in another part of the state (under national media scrutiny), Seton Home welcomed the girls to the campus and provided a sanctuary for the girls.

As a donor, I am not familiar enough with the every day workings to make such a suggestion.

Seton Home is a wonderful organization that provides necessary support to young mothers. The employees at Seton Home not only teach young girls how to parent their children, but they provide many social services that allow these teens to succeed in life, including child care, which allows these young girls to complete their education and strive to further their education, counseling, which allows these young teens to address emotional issues and/or substance abuse problems, and values-based guidance, which helps these young girls to make good decisions in their lives.

I became instantly attached to Seton Home when delivering donated items from our Christmas Giving Tree at our parish. It was my first visit, so I expected to deliver and be gone, but I recognized the Director as a former colleague from Southwestern Bell. She gave me a tour, and I was hooked. I am impressed with the quality of the facility, the services given to the girls and their babies, and the great love with which all this happens. Thank God for Seton Home!

Seton Home wasn't around in 1963 when I faced being pregnant at 16. God was good to me as the young man I was dating wanted to marry me and I him. We also had our parents support and a wonderful church family. Having been raised in San Antonio I knew of the desperate need for a Seton Home. Living 45 miles south of SA our youth in our religion classes, where I am one of many teachers, decided to sponsor Seton Home in a small way. At Christmas our youth gather gifts for the babies and moms and then help take them there. It is so great that Seton Home provides the wonderful care and love these abandoned girls and babies need. The little ones are always smiling and love to hug. The young ladies have a safe place to have their little ones and know that loving volunteers and employees will take the best of care for their children while the girls continue their education in order to be able to have a future for themselves and their child. Where else would they have had the security and love provided for them? Seton Home gives them the opportunity to become the best they can be and be future citizens who will be contributing members of society.
