My husband and I have known Scott and Laura Brookins for about 25 years. We were witness to Scott's being called to his ministry. We were asked to be his son's Godparents, and then years later he officiated at my son's and daughter-in-law's wedding. He also officiated recently at Dick's parents' memorial services. Our personal friendship with Scott and his family has grown over the years; I have been in awe of the path his ministry has taken, too. I especially appreciate his work with children's ministry all over the world. "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet" is his true mission statement that he and Laura embrace daily.

I have been a part of Scott Brookings Ministries for probably over 15 years. I was first blessed by Scott's ministry of music and encouragement at our church. Subsequently, I have been blessed to help support this ministry and learn the heart that Scott and Laura have for being part of spreading Gods Good News of his love and forgiveness of us sinners through what Jesus Christ accomplished on the Cross. Finally, I have been blessed to see this ministry grow and God open doors in some Eastern European countries as well as some African countries. God has powerfully used Scott's talents with the trumpent to open doors. Many have then been receptive to the need of repentance - seeking God's forgiveness of their sins and allowing Him to be Lord of their life by Trusting him to use their lives for His purposes. My prayer is that God will continue to bless and expand this ministry so that more people can be challenged with God's life changing message.
