The Scientific Arts Foundation is committed to developing research studies that explore the benefits of creative expression from both the artist/creator’s perspective and from the recipient/observer’s perspective. The Scientific Arts Foundation was founded in 2002 to increase the awareness and research the value of creative expression in the healing process. The medical community has made the mind/body connection and is recognizing the spiritual/belief component to healing. The Scientific Arts Foundation proposes that the 4th leg of the ‘healing table’ is creative expression.
To increase the awareness of the SAF's philosophy of creative expression within the community, the SAF has presented workshops and presentations to elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, medical groups, cancer support groups, professional organizations, and community groups.
Direct beneficiaries per year:
Approximately 500-750 people per year attend presentations

AFter having prostate cancer surgery in 1996, I used the New Love CD for relaxation and meditation to speed my recovery. The last time I saw my urulogist he said "13 years cancer free." I attribute a lot of this to my change of lifestyle by using the music on the CD. Since then I have given other CD's to friends and family who had cancer and informed them of the research proving its effectiveness on cancer patients. As the Scientific Arts foundation continues it's goals and objectives, I want to help spread the word to others facing cancer to use the CD to improve their quality of life.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the way the New Love CD helped me change my lifestyle and attitude while facing cancer.
