Review from Guidestar

I volunteered for this land trust which holds conservation easements in Anne Arundel County, and I was so impressed with the quiet, efficient job they do to preserve land in perpetuity, I joined the Board of Directors. They operate with donated office space, a highly talented staff of 2 and many partner agencies which maximizes the bang for every buck donated. Their unique role in seeking out quality conservation easements and stewarding properties is not done by other local environmental groups.

If you want to see land preserved in AA County for future generations to enjoy the functional benefits from, this land trust deserves your support. They are highly organized and professional, in the midst of applying for national accreditation, an achievement reached by only 2 land trusts in Maryland.

A non profit operating in AA County since 1988, their track record of holding 2, 634 acres (1% of the County) in easement with over 60 properties (including Bacon Ridge Natural Area and Contee Farm of SERC) is impressive. I'm proud to serve with these talented, dedicated folks!
