As we look at an aging population and the young people with developmental disabilities, it is clearly evident that we are handing for a social and health nightmare - now and into the future. SCARC Guardianship fills an important void in the lives of the developmentally disabled and their families. Their work is important, fills an important need in five counties, and never- ending. In a country and state where we should be taking care of those less fortunate, this is one of the better organizations that reaches out to those with limited voice. I can only hope that those who check out this fine organization can contribute time or money to sustain their goals.
