Save the Family is not a hand-out, it is a way out of the cycle of homelessness, violence and poverty. By providing the basic needs - - four safe walls, food and clothing - - and dignity, this organization develops the whole person. Parents are taught to be better parents, better members of society and to grow holistically. Kids come out of the program with higher self-esteem, better grades and, most importantly, hope and pride. This organization is amazing.

I got involved with this group due to several reasons. - Great program and success rate. - Very accountable. We help the families become self sufficient. (It is not a handout.) - Excellent staff who care about their clients and help them be successful. - Their is definitely a need for this in the community. (Not a solution looking for a problem.)

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Attending graduation where we get to hear the stories of the clients and see them graduate out of the program.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Hearing the clients stories and seeing them graduate from the program.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very professional, hard working and really cared about the families.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Add more houses, staff and programs to help more homeless families. We could expand our Career Development Center and maybe add a day care center.
