I have been involved with this non-profit since its inception in 2006. Initially, it was very exciting to work on this project. At that time, I was working full time and every weekend, I used to find some time to visit the project site, which was around 3 hours drive away from Kathmandu.
I did have a lot of hopes about helping the society and some were achieved while others were not. I learnt a lot from the first project and I have been using experiences gained and lessons learnt from the first project in our subsequent projects.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
In the smiling faces of the children who go to school
