SANTA FE WATERSHED ASSOCIATION
1413 Second St.
The Santa Fe Watershed Association formed to restore the Santa Fe River to a living river; to protect the long-term integrity of the watershed of the Santa Fe River, from Lake Peak to the Rio Grande; to balance human uses with natural resource protection within the Santa Fe River watershed; and to accomplish these goals through education and research, by providing input into governmental planning, permits and projects, and by engaging in on-the-ground projects of riparian and watershed restoration. The Santa Fe Watershed Association will strive to find common ground among different points of view regarding treatment of the river and its watershed. Where our research brings us to a conclusion that there is one best course of action, we will advocate that course of action civilly and respectfully among the citizens of the Santa Fe watershed and if necessary in the wider political arena.
