An assocaite of the Foundation. They rendered invalauble help to eye hospitals in India by extending community hospitals in India. The impact on reduction in curable blindness will defenitely be felt in the next 5 years. A noble service by a dedicated team of volunteers in the bay area in US.

I have been with this institution since 2 yrs providing professional service to children in treating eye diseases and education over eye problems. This is a very honest , transparent organisation in providing eye health services to poor.

being associated with sankara with the past 6 months,i have realised that it is a fantastic example of how an institute on such a large scale can serve people with such unselfishness and sincereity

that it provides quality work on such a large scale ( approx 1000 patients are being operated per week with excellent vision post operatively)

I found that every staff member, starting from the Managing Trustee downwards, had one thing in common viz. to give to the community they live in, something they own. So much so, the firm I was working with for providing this consultancy, decided to waive off all charges for as long as their mutual association continues.

after working in sankara eye foundation for a long time, i feel this is the right place for a person to get his eyes evaluated and get operated on...its a place where you feel like working in a homely atmosphere and giving your best to the patients.

their goal is vision 2020 by the year 2020, they are giving the vision for visually handicaped poors.in the year 2020 they planed 20 hospital to serve the poor patients.

it is a wonderful experience to work in this service oriented hospital- Sankara eye centre, coimbatore.this hospital is providing excellent service in community eye care by giving gift of vision to the needy. i am thankful to Sankara eye foundation for giving me this opportunity.
