Sanbayan, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was incorporated on July 22, 2004, and was given approval for tax exemption under section 501 ( c ) (3). It aims to unite all Filipinos regardless of denomination, occupation, or affiliation. Its mission is to build a Philippine Center, a physical center for all Filipino activities – religious, social, cultural, educational, etc.- to establish a sense of community and unity among Filipinos in Maryland. Sanbayan also aims to develop, utilize, and capitalize on the strength of the Filipino heritage while preserving and developing it in our “adopted” USA. This Philippine Center will, eventually, be an internet portal or a marketplace of ideas, projects and action for Sanbayan all over the world to help develop our home country to advance and parallel with the first world countries. Through Sanbayan, we identify and develop one’s God-given talents and skills and enhance them to serve others for collective betterment and communal strength.
