The springs in San Marcos that are the headwaters of the San Marcos River are vital to the life and health of our community. There are a number of species whose presence pose a risk to the environment in and around the springs. Attempting to keep the invasive exotics under control is an on-going task that will never be

Hire more staff, do more outreach and purchase essential equipment. Oh - and maybe lobby politicians as needed!
