I am born and raised in San Diego and one of my fondest memories was participating in Junior Theatre. Whether it was in a class, on stage, or behind the scenes the experience was invaluable. I remember it felt like I was always surrounded by the best talent and the best teachers and the organization really focused on letting the kids run all aspects of a production. They gave us the tools and we were given free rein to use them. It has been 15 years since I last participated at JT but the experience will last a life time. I know that because of the opportunities given to me at JT I will be a life-long patron of the arts and will always believe strongly in the fact that the arts are priceless in a child’s total development.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make it be more well-known to draw in national talent and I would publicize it to make it more appriciated in San Diego
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the different oppotunities I was given and the people I met
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
knowledgable about the arts and loved what they were doing
Ways to make it better...
I was able to get more lead roles:)
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
One thing I'd also say is that...
