Project Access San Diego makes a great difference in the lives of the uninsured in the county. Without Project Access patients in dire need of care would suffer, needlessly. I am eager to see how the program will grow throughout the community in the future.

As someone with health insurance, I can only imagine what it feels like to not have access to care. The Medical Society Foundation does a fantastic job providing assistance to those who cannot afford healthcare, helping families by allowing them to get back to work and take care of themselves.

During the healthcare debate I started to research what options are available to patients without healthcare and I came across The San Diego County Medical Society Foundation. What an amazing resource for people without insurance to gain access to specialized healthcare.
I often think what it would be like to have a specific problem and not be able to help and after reading about The Society Foundation they are doing incredible things to help people solve that problem.
