San Diego Bird Rescue

Rating: 3.89 stars   19 reviews

Issues:

Location: San Diego CA USA

Mission: Our Mission is simple. To provide "forever homes" to birds in need. Abused, neglected, uncared for or just can't be taken care of anymore birds are our focus. These beuatiful creatures live up to One Hundred (100) human years! They deserve the respect, love and care we can give them. After all, they didn't ask to be here for our amusement.
Geographic areas served: We serve San Diego and the surrounding areas. But if a bird is need, and not in our area, we will do our best to help or put the owner in touch with a group that may be closer to them
Programs: We speak, lecture, tour and educate the public 4-5 times per week. We visit Children's Hospitals, Schools, Senior Homes etc.

Long story short I was a volunteer there until I moved out of state and also adopted my bird from there. Those guys are great. The birds are treated better then people! Best foods, medical care and at the time they would get oatmeal and fresh fruit every morning.

Bravo!
