It is hard to think of the community without St. James Food Pantry. I first volunteered at the food pantry when I was a college student at nearby IIT. It is great to see the St. James Food Pantry serving so many more in need, now some 20 years later. Noticing the long line at the mobile pantry breaks my heart, but I am glad the food pantry is there for those in need.

St. James Catholic Church on Wabash is a caring parish. They have a small membership who reaches out to help others by supporting its Food Pantry. The Food Pantry helps many people in the area who are in need. I am happy to give to help suppport their programs.
