My wife and I co-chair the annual Jazzin' to Feed event which helps feed close to 2,000 families per month. The food pantry serves the needs of the community regardless of race or religion. As a community we believe our calling is helping others that are in need. Unfortunately, the need continues to rise and we must seek help of others. If you would like to help us at the food pantry by volunteering your time at the pantry or even helping work an event please contact Peter Wawire at 312-842-1919

My wife and I are co-chairs for the Jazzin to Feed event on May 8th, 2011. We are so honored to work with the staff at St. James Food Pantry, they are the kindest people that work with everyone, no matter religion, race or background. They help people, plain and simple.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my community

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

help them gain additional marketing to share their story of how to help people and do it right.
