I am a parishioner at St. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH. I SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE ST JAMES FOOD PANTRY THROUGH DONATIONA AND VOLUNTEERING. THE FOOD PANTRY IS VERY SUPPORTATIVE OF THE COMUNITY AND ON ANY GIVEN DAY YOU CAN SEE LOADS OF PEOPLE BEING SERVICED BY OUR PANTRY. DAILY THE HOMELESS KNOW THAT THEY CAN GET FOOD AT OUR PANTRY. THE FOOD PANTRY IN OUR COMMUNITY NOT ONLY SERVICE PEOPLE IN ZIP CODE 60616 BUT ALSO 60605.

I love volunteering at St. James Food Pantry because of the great staff and volunteers there! They make every single person that walks through the food pantry feel at home. This organization helps serve the low-income families and elderly of the local communities. St. James is definitely one of the most dedicated and welcoming organization that I've volunteered for!

I regularly volunteer at St. James Food Pantry and it is a very nice experience, knowing that you can help feed the hungry and the poor. The volunteers I work along with are also very nice and helpful. This is definitely a great organization and a great way to donate your time and money

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

knowing that I am doing something for the hungry and the poor.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

nice, organized, and helpful. They treated me well.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

reach out to all of the hungry people around the nation, and not just in one small area.

I volunteered at St. James food pantry, I had a great experience seeing the good this pantry does for the community it surrounds is awesome. They do what they can to help the needed and the regular volunteers are so great to work with. I enjoyed working at this pantry the food that they give out is of great nutritional value, and they programs here that teach you how to eat healthier.

St. James Catholic Church on Wabash is a caring parish. They have a small membership who reaches out to help others by supporting its Food Pantry. The Food Pantry helps many people in the area who are in need. I am happy to give to help suppport their programs.

It is hard to imagine so few doing so much as St James does by setting an example with its Food Pantry. As a volunteer, this is my second year of seeing the joy and social pleasure of the homeless and of those in need who come to share with us the holiday spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is also amazing to share the happiness with the other volunteers who come to serve. The recruitment efforts of the Board and staff are gentle and inviting, yet convincing enough to provide a generous supply of human resources. Even though these are only two occasions, the work of the pantry goes on virtually every day, year long. It is unbelievable how much they do and how many they reach with as few staff and volunteers as they have. This is the small church that does and I am blessed to be a part of it.

how much it does with so little.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

exponentially expand the number of people it so efficiently serves.

we had more money.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

financial resources.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am blessed to be part of the effort.
